Composed on commission to the Kokura Nishi High School Band for its 110th anniversary. Dedicated to Mr. Hirofumi Matsumoto, the conductor.
Premiere performance on 9th August, 2008, in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka, Japan.
福岡県立小倉西高等学校の創立110周年を記念し、同校吹奏楽部により委嘱。2008年8月9日、顧問の松本寛史先生の指揮により初演。
