Naoya Wada

Remembrance is my first composition for string orchestra and is also arranged for band.
This string orchestra edition was premiered by the Yamaguchi Chuo High School Orchestra in December 24, 2011, conducted by Mr. Masahiro Nishimura.
This lyrical study piece uses flowing legato lines and gentle, well-placed pizzicato moments.

大学1年生の頃に作曲した弦楽オーケストラ作品からの編曲。当時仲の良かった友人が、音楽とは違う道を志し、離れることになったため、この曲をプレゼントしました。
2011年12月24日、顧問の西村正浩先生の指揮で山口中央高校オーケストラ部により初演。
