The original version was composed as a woodwind trio ensemble work, commissioned by the Sugakawa Kiriyo High School Wind Orchestra's double reed ensemble. The title borrows one character each from the names of the premiere members (Natsuki-san, Yuri-san, and Aikan-san), crafting an image reminiscent of lovers gently illuminated by moonlight in the introduction and middle section, and a part in 6/8 time that seems to celebrate this scene.
This version for solo and piano was produced upon request by the Takashima High School Wind Orchestra in Tokyo and premiered on August 14, 2023, at the 63rd Tokyo Metropolitan High School Wind Music Competition (Division C).
