Naoya Wada

"Call to Freedom" is a stirring band work designed for first and second year players to experience playing in a full ensemble setting, with a variety of styles and articulations to focus and challenge young musicians in a very playable overture setting. The title refers to the movement of freedom throughout the world in the second decade of the New Millennium, an anthem of sorts for those willing to risk their lives trying to gain freedom under repressive regimes.
